As a family with 3 young kids, family outings have always been difficult for the Smith family. Greg and Patty always loved to hike but thought they would have to give it up once they had kids.. that is until they discovered the Kopachuck State Park Trail through Expedition: Northwest. The trail is only one mile, and very flat which is perfect for their three year old! Through the Olympic Peninsula, all five of them were nothing but smiles enjoying the beautiful scenery of the coast. The family's favorite part of the trail is the picnic tables found throughout, where they could stop for lunch. 8 year old Dylan even got to feed a chipmunk an almond! "The day was perfect for the whole family. I'm so glad I saw this hike on Expedition: Northwest! We will definitely be back soon!" said Greg. #myexpedition
